Jane Seymour Tudor Week

Queens Podcast

Welcome back to Tudor week, where we are re-running all our episodes on the wives of King Henry VIII of England that we’ve covered so far. Next up, we have Jane Seymour.

Jane Seymour was the third wife of King Henry VIII, and as she would say in SIX the Musical, “the only one he truly loved (rude)”. Jane was a pretty left-field choice for a wife, but would be the one to finally give the aging king the son he wanted so bad.

Jane Seymour didn’t have the education of Anne Boleyn or Catherine of Aragon nor the family connections like Anne of Cleves or either of his wives from the Howard family. So, why Jane? Well, we guess you’ll need to tune in to…see more. (sorry)
