This is a podcast about history. I am NOT a historian or expert of any kind. I’m just a dork with a deep love of history who wants to talk about it.
This episode discusses the history of Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is a holiday that is celebrated in America, and is on the fourth Thursday of every November. (There's also Canadian Thanksgiving, as well as similar celebrations in other places of the world, but this episode specifically focuses on American Thanksgiving.)
This is episode #48, which means episode #50 is coming up. I'm going to be celebrating this milestone by answering listener questions. If you have a question for me, please send it to doorkeypod@gmail.com, and I'll read it and answer it in the special episode.

This episode puts the spooky into Spooktaculer by discussing reported hauntings at Mount Vernon, which was George Washington’s home. I don’t think there’s anything much better than a good ghost story, especially around Halloween!
This is the fourth and final episode that will be released this October during the Spooktaculer, where Door Key is getting into spooky historical topics to celebrate Halloween!
